Delivery route planning for party rentalsPlan the day once. Every driver knows where to go.

Assign bookings to trucks, put the stops in order, and see the drive times. Drivers get their stops, directions and load list on their phone, so the office isn't fielding calls all day.

Every truck, every stop

Drag bookings onto trucks or assign them from the booking list. Jumpbook orders the stops and shows drive time, so you can see if a truck's day works before it starts.

  • Drop-offs per day. Set how many drop-offs a truck can make in a day. Pickups are not included. Leave it blank for no limit.
  • Same-truck pickups. Plan a pickup on a truck that's already out, so one run handles both
  • Staffed events. Mark events that need staff on site and plan them with the route

Same number is one booking.

One event can take more than one truck.

One event that needs three trucks is charged the delivery fee three times. That charge is set when the order is booked, and planning the route later does not change it. A weight tells you how heavy the load is. A unit count treats a table and an obstacle course as the same size. The percent says whether the order fits on one truck. On each item, type what percent of a truck it fills. A full truck is 100 percent. Five bounce houses at 15 percent add up to 75, so that is one delivery fee. Two big items at 60 percent add up to 120, so they need two trucks. Three of them mean three delivery fees.

  • Load 1 of 3. Each load gets its own drop-off and pickup. The driver sees only the items on that truck.
  • Different trucks. Optimize day puts each load on a different truck. Two loads from the same order never share one. If nothing fits, that load stays unassigned.
  • Leave it blank. An item with no percent does not add a truck or change the fee.

See the problem before the truck leaves.

Each truck card warns you when its day won't work. You fix it at the office, not at the customer's door.

  • Over capacity. The truck has more drop-offs than the limit you set for it
  • Too full. At some point in the day, the load is bigger than the truck. Fullest shows how big it gets.
  • Schedule overlap. Two stops are too close for the setup time. Tap Suggest fix to see new times. Nothing changes until you apply it.

Drivers have it all on their phone

Each driver sees their stops in order, opens directions with one tap, and checks off the load list. Problems get noted right at the stop.

  • Photos at drop-off and pickup. A photo of the setup and of the gear at pickup, saved with the booking
  • Problems from the road. Gate locked, nobody home: noted at the stop so the office knows
  • Condition checks. Each unit's condition at delivery and pickup, and when it was cleaned

Dirty or damaged? It's off the calendar until it's fixed.

When a driver marks a unit dirty or damaged at pickup, the report lands on your Servicing page with their photos. Tap Add to service, add the dates and notes, and that unit can't be booked until you mark it fixed. Nobody has to remember which slide is at the repair shop.

  • The driver's photos come with it. Add the repair bill too
  • "In service · until Nov 3". Every report shows it's handled
  • Back in one tap. Mark it fixed or clean, and it's bookable again

Keeps working with no signal

Rural parks and big venues often have no signal. In the driver app, deliveries are saved on the phone and sent as soon as it's back online. Drivers can report a damaged item or a wrong address, or call dispatch, right from the app.

Questions about route planning

Does Jumpbook plan delivery routes for party rentals?

Yes. Assign bookings to trucks, put stops in order, and see drive times for each truck's day.

Can drivers see their stops on their phone?

Yes. Drivers see their stops, directions and load list on their phone, and take photos at drop-off and pickup. A driver app for iPhone and Android is on the way.

Can one truck do a delivery and a pickup on the same run?

Yes. Same-truck pickups let you plan a pickup on a truck that's already out.

Can one event need more than one truck?

Yes. On each item, type what percent of a truck it fills. A full truck is 100 percent. When the items add up to more than that, Jumpbook starts another truck. You see Load 1 of 3, and each load is its own drop-off and pickup.

Why use a percent of a truck?

A weight tells you how heavy the load is. A unit count treats a table and an obstacle course as the same size. The percent says whether the order fits on one truck. A full truck is 100. Five bounce houses at 15 add up to 75, so that is one truck and one delivery fee. Two items at 60 add up to 120, so that is two trucks and two delivery fees.

Does a second truck add another delivery fee?

Yes. The delivery fee is charged once for each truck the order needs, at the time it's booked. Sharing a truck on the route later does not change that fee.

Will Jumpbook warn me if a truck's day won't work?

Yes. A truck card shows Over capacity when it has more drop-offs than its limit, Too full when the load gets bigger than the truck, and Schedule overlap when two stops are too close together. Suggest fix shows new times, and nothing changes until you apply them.

Can I stop a damaged unit from being booked?

Yes. Add it to service with dates. It can't be booked online, by staff, or by the route planner until you mark it fixed.
